Pasadena Museum Of History

The museum’s collection was first housed in its own dedicated room as part of the new Civic Auditorium in 1932. It outgrew that space by 1958, so it was transferred to the Pasadena Public Library, where it was maintained by its own volunteers. Since 1970, thanks to a generous donation from the Paloheimo family, the Museum has been based on two acres of land at the Fenyes Estate, a Pasadena Cultural Landmark that is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
